Location
Located on Canal Street, the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel is situated in the heart of the city's vibrant downtown area. From here, I was able to easily explore the city's many attractions, including the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. The Superdome is not too far as well. Numerous mature flowering Crape Myrtle trees can be found near the hotel and around the city. The hotel is also just a short distance from the Port of New Orleans, making it a convenient choice for those embarking on a cruise.
Accommodations
The Sheraton New Orleans Hotel boasts 1,110 guest rooms and suites, all of which feature contemporary decor and modern amenities. Standard rooms come equipped with flat-screen TVs, mini fridges, and Sheraton Signature Beds, while upgraded suites offer additional space and features such as separate living areas, wet bars, and whirlpool tubs. From my room I was able to watch the boats as the passed by on the Mississippi River.
