During my stay at the Armon Hotel and Conference in Stamford, Connecticut, I had the chance to try out Napoletana, the kosher dairy restaurant on-site. The restaurant is conveniently located for hotel guests, and it's about a 45-minute drive from New York City. One great perk is that hotel guests get a 20% discount on breakfast, which is a nice touch for anyone staying there.

 

I had both breakfast and lunch meals at Napoletana during my visit. The waitstaff was friendly, and Israeli chef Doron Ginat was nice enough to take the time to introduce himself. The menu offers a nice variety of options, and I was very impressed with the quality and flavor of the food.

The Eggs Benedict comes with smoked salmon and a rich hollandaise sauce, while the Eggs Florentine offers a spinach-based alternative.

 

For a lighter meal, the Israeli Breakfast includes eggs with a selection of dips and fresh salads. There are also sweet options like Challah French Toast, which comes with fresh fruit and honey butter, or a stack of pancakes available in plain, mixed berry, or chocolate chip varieties. Napoletana’s pizza menu offers a variety of classic and gourmet options, catering to both traditional and adventurous palates. The classic pizza, available in both personal and family sizes, features a simple yet delicious combination of tomato sauce and cheese. For those seeking something different, the "All About Green Pizza" brings a fresh, herby flavor with mozzarella, arugula, roasted garlic, and pesto sauce.

The pasta menu includes Penne Alla Vodka which features penne pasta in a rich, creamy vodka sauce. For mushroom lovers, the Mushroom Fettuccine pairs fettuccine with a creamy mushroom sauce, chestnuts, and parmesan. The Napoletana Linguine offers a Mediterranean twist with eggplant, olives, peppers, and feta cheese in a tomato-based sauce. The Lasagna is filled with a blend of cheeses and a tomato-based sauce, served alongside a small salad for a balanced meal.

Salad lovers have a variety of fresh options. The menu also highlights indulgent milkshakes in flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream, dulce de leche, and peanut butter. For a nutritious boost, smoothies with combinations like banana and date, mixed berries, and strawberry banana are available.
