Entrecote is located in Har Hotzvim, the tech sector area of Jerusalem, providing a picturesque view of the city's hills and landscapes. The restaurant prides itself on adhering to high standards of kashrut, Jewish kosher dietary laws, an essential aspect for many diners in this historic city. This commitment is evident in their meticulous preparation and presentation of dishes.

On this particular visit, I was attending a family function in the restaurant’s private dining room. The setting was intimate and well-appointed, offering a comfortable and exclusive atmosphere for our gathering.

The menu at Entrecote offers a variety of appetizers, mains, and desserts. Starters include a range of flavorful options like meat platters, veal hummus, and roasted eggplant carpaccio served with crispy Laffa bread. The main courses emphasize well-done meats cooked in a Josper oven, which operates solely on charcoal and is known for its ability to retain the flavor and moisture in food. The meat selection features aged entrecote steaks, butcher's skewers, and various lamb dishes.

For those dining in groups, there are butcher's mix options for two or more diners, offering a combination of different meats. The menu also includes slow-roasted cuts like veal asado and brisket, along with options for children and fish dishes.

Side dishes complement the mains, and the dessert section presents sweet treats like chocolate mousse and lemon pie. The beverage selection includes a range of cocktails, from classic Cuba Libre to unique concoctions, alongside various spirits.

The private dining experience at Entrecote added a layer of exclusivity to our family event. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that our meal was enjoyable and that our needs were met promptly and with care.

Har Hotzvim

Entrecote is located in the Har Hotzvim neighborhood of Jerusalem. Har Hotzvim, which translates to "Quarrymen's Hill" in Hebrew, is known as a high-tech industrial park area in the city. This neighborhood provides a unique backdrop for a dining experience, combining the modernity of a tech hub with the rich history and culture of Jerusalem.

Har Hotzvim, located in northwest Jerusalem, is a prominent high-tech industrial park known for its concentration of science-based and technology industries. Established in the early 1970s, Har Hotzvim has evolved into one of Jerusalem's key economic zones, housing a mix of large international corporations and smaller startups.

The park is home to many prestigious companies, both Israeli and international, with names like Intel, Teva, Mobileye, and Cisco among them. These companies contribute to Har Hotzvim's reputation as a global center for technological innovation and development. The presence of these firms highlights the area's importance in the hi-tech industry, not just within Israel but on an international scale.

As of 2023, Har Hotzvim spans an area of about 400,000 square meters and employs approximately 9,500 people. This significant employment number reflects the park's role as a major employer in the region. The park's infrastructure is continually being developed to support its growth, with plans for new construction and underground car parks.

Har Hotzvim's strategic location near central Jerusalem's main transportation arteries makes it easily accessible for city residents and commuters. This centralization is crucial for the park's workforce.

The blend of tradition and progress in Har Hotzvim is unique. Surrounded by historical landmarks, this area represents a dynamic intersection of the past and the future, where tradition coexists with cutting-edge innovation.

I enjoyed my meal at Entrecote in the Har Hotzvim area of Jerusalem. It was a great place to spend time with friends and family. If you're looking to enjoy high-quality kosher meat in a setting that reflects the beauty and culture of Jerusalem, then you should check out Entrecote. You won't be disappointed!
