The Caribe Hilton was the first international Hilton hotel to open outside of the continental United States, making it an important landmark in Puerto Rico's tourism industry. Since its opening in 1949, the hotel has hosted countless celebrities, dignitaries, and world leaders, including President John F. Kennedy and Princess Grace of Monaco.

Each room is equipped with modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, high-speed internet access, and premium bedding, ensuring that guests can relax and unwind in style.

The hotel's private beach is one of its most popular amenities, offering guests the opportunity to swim, snorkel, or simply relax on the sand.

For those who prefer to stay active on land, the hotel also features tennis courts and a nine-hole golf course. The Caribe Hilton is also known for being the birthplace of the piña colada, Puerto Rico's national drink. Visitors can stop by the hotel's Oasis Bar to try the original recipe of this famous cocktail, which was created in 1954 by bartender Ramón “Monchito” Marrero.
